Super Falcons Captain Rasheedat Ajibade Gives Testimony at MFM Church After WAFCON Victory
Nigeria’s Super Falcons captain, Rasheedat Ajibade, visited the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM) to give thanks to God following Nigeria’s thrilling 3-2 victory over Morocco in the 2025 WAFCON final.
During the thanksgiving service, Ajibade presented her winner’s medal to the church and shared a powerful testimony with the congregation, reflecting on her journey to the championship.
She recalled a previous visit to MFM after helping Nigeria qualify for the Olympics for the first time in 16 years, and how that moment of gratitude laid the foundation for her faith throughout the season.
Ajibade also opened up about the challenges she faced during her club season, including persistent injuries and emotional struggles. Despite these setbacks, she credited the prayers received through MFM’s Power Must Change Hands program and the church’s support for her strength and recovery.
“Last year, I came here to give my testimony. After that, we qualified for the Olympics,” she said.
“Then in May, while playing for my club, I had a very tough season. I came here for a deliverance service, but I was dealing with pain and injuries.”
Her resilience paid off as Ajibade went on to play a pivotal role in Nigeria’s WAFCON triumph and was honored as the Most Valuable Player of the tournament.
