Apostle Arome Osayi Teaches on Forgiveness as a Weapon Against Demonic Devices

Apostle Arome Osayi has once again stirred deep reflection in the Christian community with a powerful teaching on the role of forgiveness in spiritual warfare. In a post shared two days ago, the Apostle highlighted forgiveness as the fourth key in his ongoing series titled “FOUR WAYS TO SHUT DOWN DEMONIC OPEN DOORS.”

According to Apostle Arome, forgiveness isn’t just a moral act—it’s spiritual warfare. Drawing from 2 Corinthians 2:10–11, he emphasized that unforgiveness is the enemy’s most potent legal ground to operate in both the lives of believers and unbelievers.

“Unforgiveness is the most potent platform for the enterprise of demonic devices to flourish,” he wrote.
“It is the fertile hub for all demonic activity.”

Using the example of Christ’s forgiveness on the cross, Apostle Arome pointed out that the entire Christian faith hinges on the principle of divine forgiveness. Without it, there would be no salvation, no hope, and no victory.

He cautioned that holding on to bitterness or offense is not a passive act—it actively invites demonic oppression.

“Anyone who does not forgive is giving the hordes of hell an open invitation into their space,” he stated.

His teaching boldly clarifies a major misconception in many Christian circles: that unforgiveness is a private, internal struggle. Apostle Arome reveals that it’s a legal access point for darkness to enter and wreak havoc—spiritually, emotionally, and even physically.

Perhaps one of the most striking points in his post is the distinction he makes between possession and demonization:

“When the devil takes advantage of unforgiveness, he possesses the unbeliever and demonizes the believer.”

This warning is not to spark fear, but to provoke repentance and healing. Forgiveness is not presented as a suggestion but as a non-negotiable necessity for every believer who wants to walk in freedom and spiritual authority.

This profound teaching is an excerpt from Apostle Arome Osayi’s powerful book

Decimating Demonic Devices, which continues to equip believers with deep spiritual insight and practical tools for living in victory.
